(AP) – Officials say a strong earthquake has hit northeastern India near the border with Nepal. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. Indian seismology official RS Dattatreyan says the quake struck today and had a preliminary magnitude of 6.8. It was centered near Nepal in India's northeastern state of Sikkim.
